Longbranch owners Sandy Scott and Judy Sutcliffe opened the gallery in 2002. Sadly, Judy passed away in 2021. Sandy continues to run the gallery.

MIneral Point is a charming, historic, artists community nestled in the rolling hills of Southwest Wisconsin's scenic driftless area. Over 500 buildings within the city are designated as an historic district by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Trust in 2009  honored  Mineral Point as one of the nation's Dozen Distinctive Destinations.

Historic 1830's log cabin, Mineral Point's oldest standing structure, is located on the campus of Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts, just a block from Longbranch Gallery. Shake Rag Alley offers a wide range of year round workshops in traditional, visual, literary, and perfo​rmance arts. The Center also offers a vibrant children's program and free summer camp. The new Lind Pavilion provides a unique space not only for workshops, but is also available to the public as a rental space for performances and special events.Visit Shake Rag Alley's website here.
